Rachel Weisz is so hauntingly pretty and intriguing. not only is she Darren Aronofsky’s wife, she’s a muse to a fashion designer (i think his name is like Narcisson Rodriguez or something). like, what?
a muse? how does one become a muse? seriously. she must be super awesome.
∞the next read. kinda took a mental health day and only did a bit of work and then just read while in the midst of rearranging my room.
Super Sad True Love Story was okay at best. i could get into the whole sci-fi vibe of a dystopian future. i could get into the fact that one of the main characters wrote and read old prose, trying to hang on to a past everyone was so ready to let go of. i could even kinda dig the love story that it’s title came from. but after about 1/4th of the way through, you just start to get the feeling of everything being so FORCED. the language, the details, the plot events. it’s all so forced. its an interesting read, but not super engaging since after a bit, the feeling of everything being forced becomes the book being kind of bland. oh well, let’s hope the new one is better.
∞Big Boi + Yelawolf + Andre 3000 production = You Ain’t No DJ.
i gotta admit, i don’t think that Yelawolf is gonna catch on. everyone in the rap game seem to deem him the ‘next big thing’ from the South mainstream-rap wise, but i don’t see him catching on.
that’s just me though, and what do i know about rap?
∞and Call Of Duty: Black Ops has found the thing that will sell the game just as well as Modern Warfare 2.
the ‘Wager Match’ multiplayer mode.
this whole idea of gambling in multiplayer is only the step below using real money. they’re onto something here. i’m telling you.
∞MASS EFFECT 2 DLC: THE LAIR OF THE SHADOW BROKER.
i really have to give credit when credit is due. every month, since January, the good folks over at Bioware have given DLC, either free or less than $5. the extension into length of playing a game like Mass Effect 2, coupled with this kind of marketing strategy is fucking amazing, and really makes the fanboy i am. i love it when companies pay off their fans like this. i love this game. i love the DLC. i love the company, and i’m ready for the DLC that just keeps on coming.
