so i went to go see this last night, and i’ll say a few things about it:

• this is definitely a vehicle to get Johnny Depp an Oscar nod, if win.
• the HD film is really awesome. i mean i know some people don’t like it or think its annoying, but to me, it made the 1930s come to life. like that’s how people actually saw the colors and stuff during that time period. it made it more realistic to me.
• Christian Bale was once again kinda dull, slightly boring. the dude does have talent, we all know this, i just don’t know, its hard telling what roles are ‘right’ for the guy.
• Marion Cotillard is a bonafide HOTTIE. like seriously, DAMN.
• if you like Heat, you’ll like this, its got a bit more action with TOMMYGUNS.
• nerd out moment: locations and costumes are all top notch, everything technical and stuff will probably get some kind of award recognition, if not win.
