where i am:

sitting in a library. it should make me feel more productive, you know, the quiet, people obviously doing the work that i should be doing, but i just find more and more ways to distract myself while i’m here. i also love the look of certian books. like art books are amazing. i think all the different shapes and sizes and layout are really intriguing. i try to switch up my library dates, sometimes i hit up the art history one, sometimes the regular one, sometimes the music one, and i just think libraries are pretty cool.

tomorrow night i’ve got a set at this apt. party, and in all honesty, i don’t know how i’m going to set up or anything. my girlfriend volunteered me since it’s her sisters place, but i don’t know the crowd, i mean, they might not like it, i hear its a theme toga party. so it could end up really sweet sick nasty, or it could end up really really shitty, so figuring that out and making sure i’ve got like 3-5 hours worth of spinning has really been on my mind. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, email me or fb me or something, please, i need ideas, i’m kinda running out.

i’ve been re-reading Ellis, i guess since i heard about the new title i need to reacquaint myself with his world. but i really want to start getting into Joyce for my summer reading. i know this sounds cliche but maybe conquer Ulysses. seriously.

does anyone else think that the whole 8 pm showing of Iron Man on thursday is kinda gay? doesn’t that take the fun out of the whole idea of midnight showings?
