If anything, what is one thing you regret the most within the 21 years you’ve been alive?
there was one time when i was like 17 and really in a bad place mentally, and i used to mask it all with my parents. i would completely be fine in front of them and booze and drugs would completely take over me sometimes and they had to have an inkling, but i always thought they were just turning a blind eye. the relationship i have with my parents now is absolutely the best thing in my life, like ever. if i had just come to them sooner instead of fucking waiting another 2 years to finally just be awesome with them and completely honest and open and realizing that they really meant it when they said they would always be in my corner. my young adulthood (18-20) would have gone a completely different course. i really regret being such a fuckbag to them in that time of my life. having what i have with them now; if i had that earlier in life, would have truly changed everything. i definitely think that waiting so long to having a fucking awesome relationship with my parents is the think i regret the most.
