"You ever hear of Chaos Theory, Ed? It’s a science that tries to determine underlying patterns in chaotic systems. Weather, ocean currents, blood flow, that sort of thing. Well, it turns out that there are few things more chaotic than the beat of a human heart. Speeding up, slowing down, pretty face, a flight of stairs. It’s always changing depending on what’s happening to us out there. It’s an erratic son of a bitch. But underneath all of that bump-de-bump mess, there is in fact a pattern. A truth. And it’s love. The most important thing about love is that we choose to give it, and we choose to receieve it. Making it the least random act in the entire universe. It transcends blood. It transcends betrayal. And all the dirt that makes us human. If you can figure that out, then the Jake Lee’s of the world have got nothing on you."
so i watched Chaos Theory like at 5am this morning. it was okay, like, alright, it wasn’t the greatest movie ever, however, the ending quote really is super corny and cheeseball, however, maybe its the way Ryan Reynolds delievered it, maybe it was my lack of sleep, or maybe it’s just kinda true, but the ending little quote i enjoyed like, well, ALOT. it fit the storyline really well, but also can apply to life. i actually recommend the movie simply for the really witty and smart opening and closing sequences, everything else in between is just okay.
