Not necessarily. If Nolan can remove Ra’s from the Lazarus Pit, it would be easy to remove Talia from anything to do with Robin. (I assume you’re referring to the storyline where she and Robin are kidnapped together?) She just needs to be the daughter of Ra’s - perhaps she’s been rebuilding the League of Shadows? I’ve always liked her contradictons - driven by loyalty to her father and doing horrible things because of it, but ultimately a good person. She and Selina have a lot in common that way, even if they operate on entirely different levels.
Hell, if they want to go really crazy, they could bring in Nyssa, too. Minus being born in the 18th century and all that torturing of Talia in the Pit. (Though that was some seriously awesome stuff. Death and the Maidens doesn’t get nearly enough love.)
holy shit way to read my mind. i think the whole rebuilding would be amazing. that would be sick nasty. i dunno if Selina would be introduced though, because for some reason, i have this feeling as if with the killing off of their whole Rachel Dawes character, the Nolans really don’t have love for females, i mean, even in The Prestige, the female characters to me could have always been developed a bit more, you know? i mean the possibilities that are left with a Talia storyline would be sweet as hell, so i’m glad we’re all on the same page here.
